Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an abrasive insert comprising a layer of PCD or PCBN; and a cemented carbide substrate to which the layer of PCD or PCBN is bonded through an interlayer; the interlayer comprising a bonded mass of superhard abrasive particles and refractory particles wherein an average size of the superhard abrasive particles is the same as or less than that of the refractory particles and to a method of manufacture of the insert.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un insert abrasif comprenant une couche de PCD ou de PCBN; et un substrat de carbure cimenté auquel la couche de PCD ou de PCBN est liée par le biais d'une couche intermédiaire; la couche intermédiaire comprenant une masse liée de particules abrasives extrêmement dures et de particules réfractaires, une taille moyenne des particules abrasives extrêmement dures étant inférieure ou égale à celle des particules réfractaires. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé de fabrication de l'insert.
