Abstract:
(EN) A method of processing controlled source electromagnetic (CSEM) data is provided for reducing the airwave contribution. CSEM data are acquired, for example using a conventional towed source (4) and receiver (5) arrangement. The recorded data are weighted in accordance with the geometrical spreading of the airwave component. The differences between pairs of weighted data records are then formed.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de données électromagnétiques à source contrôlée (CSEM) permettant de réduire la contribution des ondes aériennes. Les données CSEM sont acquises, par exemple, au moyen d'une disposition classique de source remorquée (4) et de récepteur (5). Les données enregistrées sont pondérées selon la propagation géométrique du composant des ondes aériennes. Les différences entre les paires d'enregistrements de données pondérées sont ensuite formées.
