Abstract:
(EN) Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program products, for aligning images are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes receiving an inaccurate three dimensional (3D) position of a physical camera, where the physical camera captured a photographic image; basing an initial 3D position of a virtual camera in a 3D virtual environment on the inaccurate 3D position of the physical camera; correlating one or more markers in the photographic image with one or more markers in the 3D virtual environment that appear in the virtual camera's field of view; and adjusting the initial 3D position of the virtual camera in the 3D virtual environment based on a disparity between the one or more markers' 3D positions in the photographic image as compared to the one or more markers' 3D positions in the virtual camera's field of view.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et des dispositifs, notamment des produits de programme informatique, pour aligner des images. Dans un aspect, l'invention concerne un procédé consistant à recevoir une position tridimensionnelle inexacte (3D) d'un appareil photo physique, capturant une image photographique; baser une position 3D initiale d'un appareil photo virtuel dans un environnement virtuel 3D sur la position 3D inexacte de l'appareil photo physique; corréler un ou plusieurs marqueurs de l'image photographique avec un ou plusieurs marqueurs de l'environnement virtuel 3D apparaissant dans le champ de vision de l'appareil photo virtuel; et ajuster la position 3D initiale de l'appareil photo virtuel dans l'environnement virtuel 3D sur la base d'une disparité entre la ou les positions des marqueurs 3D dans l'image photographique et la ou les positions des marqueurs 3D dans le champ de vision de l'appareil photographique virtuel.
