Abstract:
(EN) A description is given of a damper arrangement (9) provided in connection with a pipeline (7) for regulating a gas flow being conveyed through the pipeline (7) in a direction. The damper arrangement (9) is peculiar in that the pipeline (7) over a given distance comprises a branch section, where it is divided into at least two branch pipelines (9a, 9b, 9c), each comprising a damper device (11a, 11b, 11c) which independently of one another can be placed in a fully open position or in a fully closed position, where the branch pipelines after the branch section as seen in the gas conveying direction are united into one single pipeline (7). It is hereby obtained that the wear exposure of the dampers will be significantly reduced, thereby enabling the damper arrangement to maintain its operational reliability even during an extended period of operation while simultaneously allowing for stepwise variable regulation of the gas flow through the pipeline. This is ascribable to the fact that the wear exposure of the dampers will be negligible when they are placed in their fully open and fully closed positions, respectively.
(FR) On décrit un ensemble régulateur (9) associé à une conduite (7) pour réguler un flux de gaz acheminé dans la conduite (7) selon un sens donné. Ledit ensemble (9) est caractérisé en ce que la conduite (7) comporte, sur une distance donnée, une section ramifiée, où elle est divisée en au moins deux conduites (9a, 9b, 9c) de ramification, comportant chacune un dispositif régulateur (11a, 11b, 11c); ces dispositifs peuvent être placés, indépendamment les uns des autres, en position complètement ouverte ou en position complètement fermée, les conduites de ramification étant réunies en une seule conduite (7) après la section ramifiée, dans le sens d'acheminement du gaz. On parvient ainsi à réduire considérablement l'usure à laquelle sont exposés les dispositifs, ce qui conserve à l'ensemble régulateur sa fiabilité opérationnelle même sur une période prolongée d'exploitation tout en permettant simultanément une régulation variable par paliers du flux de gaz dans la conduite. Cela s'explique par le fait que le risque d'usure des dispositifs régulateurs est négligeable lorsqu'on les place respectivement dans leurs positions complètement ouverte et complètement fermée.
