Abstract:
(EN) A method of transferring heat from a warmer stream of gas to a cooler stream of gas comprises flowing the warmer stream of gas through a heat exchanger in a manner such that the warmer stream of gas converges as the warmer stream of gas flows through the heat exchanger. The method further comprises flowing the cooler stream of gas through the heat exchanger in a manner such that the cooler stream of gas diverges as the cooler stream of gas flows through the heat exchanger. Another method comprises forming a heat exchanger by solid state welding a plurality of laminate members to each other. The heat exchanger may be a heatsink. The heat exchanger may also condense gas into a liquid.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à transférer de la chaleur d'un flux de gaz chaud à un flux de gaz plus froid, comportant une étape consistant à faire circuler le flux de gaz le plus chaud à travers un échangeur de chaleur de telle manière que le flux de gaz le plus chaud converge à mesure que le flux de gaz le plus chaud traverse l'échangeur de chaleur. Le procédé comporte en outre une étape consistant à faire circuler le flux de gaz le plus froid à travers l'échangeur de chaleur de telle manière que le flux de gaz le plus froid diverge à mesure que le flux de gaz le plus froid traverse l'échangeur de chaleur. Un autre procédé comporte une étape consistant à former un échangeur de chaleur par soudage à l'état solide d'une pluralité d'éléments stratifiés les uns aux autres. L'échangeur de chaleur peut être un puits de chaleur. L'échangeur de chaleur peut également condenser un gaz pour donner un liquide.
