A media system is provided having synchronized multiple camera signals of at least one event or activity for transmission over the internet to end users for selective display and/or manipulation. The media system may provide that end users are able to select and view and manipulate one or more of the multiple streaming video signals at will. The media system may be used in connection with a great variety of events or activities, including without limitation concerts, sports events, political events, sales events, movie premiers, public events, training events and religious events. A method is also provided having synchronized camera signals of at least one event or activity for transmission over the internet to end users for selective display and/or manipulation. The multiple camera signals are provided to end users for selective display and/or manipulation by end users. A media player is also provided for processing synchronized camera signals representing different views of at least one event or activity and providing end users of the media player the options of selectively displaying and/or manipulating at least one of the views at will.

L'invention porte sur un système multimédia présentant de multiples signaux de caméra synchronisés d'au moins un événement ou d'au moins une activité, pour une transmission sur Internet à des utilisateurs finals pour un affichage et/ou une manipulation sélectifs. Le système multimédia peut prévoir que les utilisateurs finals soient capables de sélectionner, visualiser et manipuler un ou plusieurs des multiples signaux vidéo en flux continu à la demande. Le système multimédia peut être utilisé conjointement avec une grande diversité d'événements ou d'activités, comprenant sans limitation des concerts, des événements sportifs, des événements politiques, des événements commerciaux, des premières de cinéma, des événements publics, des événements de formation et des événements religieux. L'invention porte également sur un procédé présentant des signaux de caméra synchronisés d'au moins un événement ou d'au moins une activité, pour une transmission sur Internet à des utilisateurs finals pour un affichage et/ou une manipulation sélectifs. Les multiples signaux de caméra sont fournis à des utilisateurs finals pour un affichage et/ou une manipulation sélectifs par des utilisateurs finals. L'invention porte également sur un lecteur multimédia pour traiter des signaux de caméra synchronisés représentant différentes vues d'au moins un événement ou une activité, et fournissant aux utilisateurs finals du lecteur multimédia les options d'affichage et/ou de manipulation sélectifs d'au moins l'une des vues à la demande.
