Abstract:
(EN) Air treatment catalyst systems and methods for treating the air in the aircraft cabin environment are provided. The catalyst system and method remove ozone, volatile organic compounds, NOx and other pollutants. The catalyst system used to treat the cabin air comprises a plurality of discrete substrates having an ozone abatement catalyst loaded thereon and arranged in a stacked configuration between a source of the air stream and the passenger cabin, the at least the first two substrates adjacent the source of the air stream comprise an iron-based alloy.
(FR) L'invention porte sur des systèmes et sur des procédés catalytiques de traitement d'air pour traiter l'air dans l'environnement d'une cabine d'avion. Les système et procédé catalytique permettent d'éliminer de l'ozone, les composés organiques volatils, NOx et autres polluants. Le système catalytique utilisé pour traiter l'air de la cabine comprend plusieurs substrats discrets ayant un catalyseur d'abattement de l'ozone chargé sur ceux-ci et disposés dans une configuration empilée entre une source du courant d'air et la cabine de passagers, au moins les deux premiers substrats étant adjacents à la source du courant d'air comprenant un alliage à base de fer.
