Abstract:
(EN) This invention is directed to a method of stabilizing high solid slurries, like kaolin slurries, the method comprises causticizing the sodium polycrylate or polyacrylic acid used in a dispersant blend to a pH of above 9. The method comprises a homogeneous dispersant blend of sodium carbonate, sodium polyacrylate, sodium silicate, and sodium hydroxide. This invention is also directed to a method of stabilizing high solid slurries, like kaolin slurries, by adding sodium polyacrylate at an acidic pH range or polyacrylic acid solution to the slurries: and adding a blend of solid ash and sodium silicate to the slurries.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de stabilisation de suspensions à teneur élevée en solide, comme des suspensions de kaolin. Le procédé comprend la caustification du polyacrylate de sodium ou du poly(acide acrylique) utilisé dans un mélange dispersant jusqu'à un pH supérieur à 9. Le procédé comprend un mélange dispersant homogène contenant du carbonate de sodium, un polyacrylate de sodium, du silicate de sodium et de l'hydroxyde de sodium. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de stabilisation de suspensions à teneur élevée en solide, comme des suspensions de kaolin, par l'ajout de polyacrylate de sodium à une plage pH acide ou une solution de poly(acide acrylique) aux suspensions, et l'ajout d'un mélange de cendres solides et de silicate de sodium aux suspensions.
