Abstract:
(EN) Short single chain peptides having affinity for a target surface often lack the binding durability required for certain commercial applications. One way to improve durability is to promote multivalent binding by linking together binding sequences using peptide linkers. However, the resulting single chain binding peptides often suffer from linker entropy. It has been discovered that the use of rigid peptide linkers when linking together multiple binding sequences enhances the binding affinity of the resulting single chain peptide.
(FR) Selon l'invention, des peptides à chaîne unique courte ayant une affinité pour une surface cible manquent souvent de la durabilité de liaison qui est nécessaire pour certaines applications industrielles. Une façon d'améliorer la durabilité est de favoriser une liaison multivalente en liant ensemble des séquences de liaison à l'aide de liants de peptide. Cependant, les peptides de liaison à chaîne unique résultants souffrent souvent d'une entropie de liant. Il a été découvert que l'utilisation de liants de peptide rigides lors de la liaison de multiples séquences de liaison ensemble améliore l'affinité de liaison du peptide à chaîne unique résultant.
