Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a boot for constant velocity universal joint, the boot being capable of flexibly deforming to follow even a large operating angle, capable of effectively dispersing interference pressure between crests, interference pressure between the troughs and a shaft, and stress concentration to the troughs to uniformize such pressure and stress, having improved anti-wear properties and anti-fatigue properties, and having high durability.  Also provided is a constant velocity universal joint capable of using the boot. A bellows section (15) of a boot is provided with three or more crests (7), and also with three or more troughs (6) which are alternately arranged, together with the crests (7), in the axis direction.  In a cross-section of the boot taken in the longitudinal direction thereof, the outer diameter section of each of the crests (7) is formed in a rounded shape.  The curvature radius of the outer diameter sections of one or two crests (7) located at the center portion between a large-diameter section (13) and a small-diameter section (14) is set to be greater than the curvature radius of the outer diameter sections of the remaining crests (7).
(FR) L'invention concerne un protecteur de joint universel homocinétique, le protecteur étant capable de se déformer de façon souple pour accompagner un angle de fonctionnement, même important, capable de disperser efficacement une pression d'interférence entre les crêtes, une pression d'interférence entre les creux et un arbre, et une concentration de contraintes entre les creux afin d'uniformiser ladite pression et lesdites contraintes, présentant des propriétés améliorées de résistance à l'usure et à la fatigue, ainsi qu'une grande durabilité. L'invention concerne également un joint universel homocinétique capable d'utiliser le protecteur. Une section (15) de soufflet d'un protecteur selon l'invention est pourvue d'au moins trois crêtes (7), ainsi que d'au moins trois creux (6) disposés en alternance avec les crêtes (7) dans la direction de l'axe. Dans une coupe longitudinale du protecteur, la section de diamètre extérieur de chacune des crêtes (7) présente une forme arrondie. Le rayon de courbure des sections de diamètre extérieur d'une ou de deux crêtes (7) situées dans la partie centrale entre une section (13) de grand diamètre et une section (14) de petit diamètre est choisi supérieur au rayon de courbure des sections de diamètre extérieur des crêtes (7) restantes.
