Abstract

The invention relates to selecting a set of candidate genes from a pool of genes. The method comprising receiving a set of gene data; arranging the set of gene data into a set of clusters with similar profiles by use of a clustering algorithm; and inputting the set of clusters into a genetic algorithm to select a set of candidate genes from the set of clusters. The method thus relates to hybrid between selection by clustering computation and selection by evolutionary computation. This hybrid is also referred to as an evolutionary clustering algorithm (ECA).

L’invention concerne la sélection d’un ensemble de gènes candidats à partir d’une réserve de gènes. Le procédé consiste à recevoir un ensemble de données génétiques ; disposer l’ensemble de données génétiques dans un ensemble de grappes avec des profils similaires en utilisant un algorithme de regroupement ; et entrer l’ensemble de grappes dans un algorithme génétique pour sélectionner un ensemble de gènes candidats à partir de l’ensemble de grappes. Le procédé concerne donc un hybride entre une sélection par calcul de regroupement et une sélection par calcul évolutif. Cet hybride est également désigné sous le nom d’algorithme de regroupement évolutif (ECA).
