Abstract:
(EN) A method, system and program for encoding and decoding speech according to a source-filter model whereby speech is modelled to comprise a source signal filtered by a time-varying filter. The method comprises: receiving a speech signal comprising successive frames. For each of a plurality of frames of the speech signal: adding a predetermined noise signal to the speech signal to generate a simulated signal, determining linear predictive coding coefficients based on the simulated signal frame, and determining a linear predictive coding residual signal based on the linear predictive coding coefficients and one of the speech signal and the simulated signal. Then forming an encoded signal representing said speech signal, based on the linear predictive coding coefficients and the linear predictive coding residual signal.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé, un système et un programme de codage et de décodage de la parole conformément à un modèle de filtrage de la source selon lequel la parole est modélisée pour comprendre un signal source filtré par un filtre à variation dans le temps. Le procédé comprend la réception d'un signal vocal comprenant des trames successives et, pour chacune d'une pluralité de trames du signal vocal, l'ajout d'un signal de bruit prédéterminé au signal vocal pour générer un signal simulé, la détermination de coefficients de codage prédictif linéaire en se basant sur la trame de signal simulée et la détermination d'un signal résiduel à codage prédictif linéaire en se basant sur les coefficients de codage prédictif linéaire et le signal vocal ou le signal simulé, puis la formation d'un signal codé représentant ledit signal vocal en se basant sur les coefficients de codage prédictif linéaire et le signal résiduel à codage prédictif linéaire.
