Abstract:
(EN) A method of managing network traffic within a wireless network (100) comprises identifying a plurality of base stations (111, 121, 131) within the wireless network, categorizing each one of the plurality of base stations according to its type, setting a load balancing parameter (α) for each one of the plurality of base stations according to its type, and, for a handover event involving a handover from a first one of the plurality of base stations to a second one of the plurality of base stations, selecting the second one of the plurality of base stations according to a process that takes into account the load balancing parameters of both the first one of the plurality of base stations and the second one of the plurality of base stations.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de gestion d'un trafic réseau dans un réseau sans fil (100). Le procédé consiste à identifier une pluralité de stations de base (111, 121, 131) dans le réseau sans fil, à catégoriser chaque station de base de la pluralité de stations de base d'après son type, à définir un paramètre d'équilibrage de charge (α) pour chaque station de base de la pluralité de stations de base d'après son type et, pour un événement de transfert entraînant un transfert depuis une première station de base de la pluralité de stations de base vers une seconde station de base de la pluralité de stations de base, à sélectionner la seconde station de base de la pluralité de stations de base selon un procédé qui prend en compte les paramètres d'équilibrage de charge à la fois de la première station de base de la pluralité de stations de base et de la seconde station de base de la pluralité de stations de base.
