Abstract:
(EN) A medical implant comprising in components from a tooth and stem cells harvested from at least one tooth. Tooth stem cells may be harvested from the dental pulp of mammalian teeth, such as unerupted third molars in humans. After the stem cells are removed and isolated from the other teeth tissue, the hard tooth may be ground into a base material for the manufacture of a porous matrix into which the tooth stem cells can be added. Additionally, soft tissue from the harvested tooth may be used as a carrier scaffold for soft tissue applications such as meniscal or cartilage repair.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un implant médical comprenant des composants provenant d'une dent et de cellules souches récoltées à partir d'au moins une dent. Les cellules souches de dent peuvent être récoltées à partir de la pulpe dentaire de dents de mammifère, telles que les troisièmes molaires enclavées chez les êtres humains. Après avoir retiré les cellules souches à partir de l'autre tissu de dent et après les avoir isolées, on peut broyer la denture en un matériau de base pour la fabrication d'une matrice poreuse dans laquelle on peut ajouter les cellules souches de dent. De plus, on peut utiliser un tissu mou provenant de la dent récoltée en tant qu'échafaudage support pour des applications de tissu mou telles qu'une réparation de ménisque de cartilage.
