Abstract:
(EN) A method for cleaning batch material from an extrusion die includes introducing at least one gel composition into the die in a manner sufficient to purge the batch material from the die. After the batch material is purged from the die, the die can be treated further so that the gel composition is liquefied and flows from the die.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé de nettoyage d'une filière d'extrusion pour en enlever une matière de lot. Ce procédé comporte l'opération consistant à introduire au moins une composition en gel dans la filière, d'une manière suffisante pour purger la filière de la matière de lot. Après avoir été purgée de la matière de lot, la filière peut être traitée à nouveau de telle sorte que la composition en gel soit liquéfiée et s'écoule à partir de la filière.
