Abstract:
(EN) A method for stabilizing pyrolysis gasoline in storage involves adding an effective amount of a quinone methide compound to the pyrolysis gasoline. The quinone methide does not require oxygen for activity. Embodiments of the quinone methide do not contain nitrogen and will have a reduced tendency for ammonia production.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de stabilisation de l'essence de pyrolyse (ou pygas) pendant son stockage. Ledit procédé consiste à ajouter une quantité efficace d'un composé de quinone méthide à l'essence de pyrolyse. La quinone méthide ne nécessite pas d'oxygène pour être active. Des formes de réalisation de la quinone méthide ne contiennent pas d'azote et présenteront une tendance réduite à la production d'ammoniac.
