Abstract:
(EN) The present application relates to a friction welding system (100) and method including a welding arrangement (107) configured to impart kinetic friction between at least one surface of a first workpiece and at least one surface of a second workpiece to form a weld, a force providing mechanism (100) arranged and disposed for applying a force to one or both of the first workpiece and the second workpiece, and a sensor arranged (102) and disposed to measure a parameter of the welding arrangement (107), wherein an amount of vibration is determinable from the measured parameter.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur un système et un procédé de soudage par friction (100) comprenant un ensemble de soudage (107) configuré pour impartir une friction cinétique entre au moins une surface d'une première pièce à travailler et au moins une surface d'une seconde pièce à travailler pour former une soudure, un mécanisme de délivrance de force (100) agencé et disposé pour appliquer une force sur l'une ou les deux de la première pièce à travailler et de la seconde pièce à travailler, et un capteur (102) agencé et disposé pour mesurer un paramètre de l'ensemble de soudage (107), une quantité de vibration pouvant être déterminée à partir du paramètre mesuré.
