Abstract:
(EN) Fiducials having substantially continuous portions made on a substrate allow the position of the substrate to be determined. An approach for making fiducials involves moving first and second fiducial devices together back and forth across the substrate along a trajectory having a component along the lateral axis of the substrate while the substrate and the first and second fiducial devices are in relative motion along the longitudinal axis of the substrate. The first fiducial device operates to make one fiducial on the substrate during the movement along the trajectory and the relative motion. The second fiducial device operates to make another fiducial on the substrate during the movement along the trajectory and the relative motion. The fiducials may be formed so that they have a constant spatial frequency with the first fiducial being out of phase with respect to the second fiducial.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur des repères comportant des parties sensiblement continues réalisées sur un substrat, lesquels repères permettent de déterminer la position du substrat. Une approche de réalisation des repères comprend le déplacement simultané d'un premier et d'un second dispositifs de référence vers l'avant et vers l'arrière du substrat le long d'une trajectoire possédant une composante le long de l'axe latéral du substrat tandis que le substrat et les premier et seconds dispositifs de référence sont en déplacement relatif le long de l'axe longitudinal du substrat. Le premier dispositif de référence fonctionne de façon à réaliser un repère sur le substrat durant le mouvement le long de la trajectoire et selon le mouvement relatif. Le second dispositif de référence fonctionne de façon à réaliser un autre repère sur le substrat durant le mouvement le long de la trajectoire et selon le mouvement relatif. Les repères peuvent être constitués de telle sorte qu'ils ont une fréquence spatiale constante, le premier repère étant déphasé par rapport au second repère.
