Abstract:
(EN) An ophthalmic surgical (100) system utilizes a needle (128) through which fluid is aspirated from a surgical sit (110) e, and a sleeve (122) coaxially received over the needle to define a flow passage (126) between the sleeve and needle through which fluid is communicated to the surgical site. The system further includes a container (130) that provides an adjustable infusion pressure. An aspiration pump (140) urges aspiration of fluid from the surgical site, and a sensor (160) detects the rate of aspiration flow. A controller (200) is configured to calculate an intraocular eye pressure based on the infusion pressure and a pressure drop due to a resistance to the flow rate, which flow includes the sensed flow rate and a predicted leakage selected from a look-up table based on a size of the needle (128), a size of a sleeve (122), and a size of an incision (112) through which the needle and the sleeve are placed.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur un système chirurgical ophtalmique mettant en œuvre une aiguille par laquelle on aspire un fluide à partir d'un site chirurgical, et un manchon reçu coaxialement sur l'aiguille afin de définir un passage d'écoulement entre le manchon et l'aiguille par lequel on amène un fluide à communiquer avec le site chirurgical. Le système comprend en outre un contenant fournissant une pression de perfusion réglable. Une pompe d'aspiration déclenche l'aspiration du fluide à partir du site chirurgical, et un détecteur détecte la vitesse d'écoulement de l'aspiration. Un dispositif de commande est configuré de façon à calculer la pression de l'œil intraoculaire sur la base de la pression de perfusion et la chute de pression due à une résistance au débit, lequel écoulement comprend le débit détecté et une fuite prédite choisie à partir d'une table de consultation basée sur la dimension de l'aiguille, la dimension du manchon et la dimension de l'incision par laquelle on met en place l'aiguille et le manchon.
