Abstract:
(EN) A propylene production process is disclosed. The process comprises (a) reacting a feed stream comprising isobutene in the presence of a skeletal isomerization catalyst to obtain an isomerized stream comprising C4 olefins; and (b) reacting the isomerized stream with ethylene in the presence of a metathesis catalyst to form a metathesis product stream comprising propylene, C4 olefins, and C5+ olefins. The metathesis reaction pressure is equal to or lower than that of the skeletal isomerization.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de propylène. Le procédé comprend (a) la réaction d'un courant de charge qui comprend de l'isobutène en présence d'un catalyseur d'isomérisation squelettique pour obtenir un courant isomérisé comprenant des oléfines en C4; et (b) la réaction du courant isomérisé avec de l'éthylène en présence d'un catalyseur de métathèse pour former un courant de produits de métathèse qui comprend du propylène, des oléfines en C4, et des oléfines en C5+. La pression de réaction de la métathèse est inférieure ou égale à celle de l'isomérisation squelettique.
