(EN) The present invention relates to a planar AWG (Arrayed Waveguide Grating) device. More specifically, the invention concerns the structure of the AWG in which a transmissive grating is inserted between output port waveguides at the place where an output planar waveguide meets the output port waveguide. At that place, that is to say, the rays which respectively have mth phase difference while passing through an arrayed waveguide in the AWG converge into a focus through light diffraction while passing through the output planar waveguide. According to the invention, the ray incident between output waveguides is diminished at a certain angle by minimizing the straight ray in zeroth diffraction order and maximizing the ray in first diffraction order through diffraction. Therefore, the invention is able to minimize channel crosstalk remarkably.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif à réseau sélectif planaire. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne la structure d'un réseau sélectif planaire dans laquelle un réseau de transmission est interposé entre des guides d'ondes de borne de sortie à la place où un guide d'onde planaire de sortie est en contact avec le guide d'ondes de borne de sortie. À cet endroit, c'est-à-dire, les rayons qui ont respectivement une me différence de phase lors de leur passage à travers un guide d'onde de réseau dans le réseau sélectif planaire convergent en un point focal grâce à une diffraction de lumière lors de leur passage à travers le guide d'onde planaire de sortie. Selon l'invention, le rayon incident entre des guides d'ondes de sortie est réduit à un certain angle en minimisant le rayon linéaire en une diffraction d'ordre zéro et en maximisant le rayon dans le premier ordre de diffraction au moyen d'une diffraction. Par conséquent, l'invention est capable de minimiser la diaphonie de canal de façon remarquable.
(KO) 본 발명은 평판형 배열도파로 회절격자(AWG) 소자 구조에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 배열도파로 회절격자(AWG) 소자에서 광이 배열도파로를 통과하면서 각각 m차의 위상 차이를 가지고 만나는 광이 출력측 평판 도파로를 통과하면서 빛의 회절에 의하여 초점으로 모아지는 곳, 즉 출력측 평판 도파로와 출력단 도파로가 만나는 부분에 있어서 출력단 도파로와 출력단 도파로 사이에 투과형 회절격자(grating)을 삽입하는 배열도파로 회절격자(AWG) 소자 구조에 관한 것이다. 이에 의할 경우, 출력 도파로 사이로 입사되는 광이 회절 현상에 의하여 0차 회절 차수인 직진하는 광의 세기를 최소로 하고, 1차 회절 차수의 광을 최대로 하여 특정 각도로 되어 소멸 시킴으로써 채널 누화 손실을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 효과를 가지게 된다.
