Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to compositions and methods for producing hydrogen from water involving reacting metal particles with water in presence of an effective amount of activator. In particular the invention pertains to compositions and methods for producing hydrogen upon reaction of metal particles selected from the group consisting of aluminum (Al), magnesium (Mg), boron, (B), silicon (Si), iron (Fe), and Zinc (Zn) with water, in presence of an effective amount of an activator catalyst, wherein the activator is selected from the group consisting of: alkali metals, earth alkali metals, and hydroxides of earth alkali metals.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés permettant de produire de l'hydrogène à partir d'eau qui impliquent la réaction de particules métalliques avec de l'eau en présence d'une quantité efficace d'activateur. En particulier, la présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés permettant de produire de l'hydrogène lors de la réaction de particules métalliques choisies parmi l'aluminium (Al), le magnésium (Mg), le bore (B), le silicium (Si), le fer (Fe) et le zinc (Zn), avec de l'eau en présence d'une quantité efficace d'un activater, ledit activateur étant choisi parmi les métaux alcalins, les métaux alcalino-terreux et les hydroxydes de métaux alcalino-terreux.
