Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a transparent optical element (100) including an assembly of cells (1) having variable respective depths (h) as measured in a direction (N) perpendicular to a surface (S1) of the element having said cells. The cells can be filled with a gas or with mixtures of at least two components having different light refraction index values. The variation of the cell depth increases the variation of an equivalent value of the light refraction index associated with each cell, and reduces the roughness of a lens equivalent to the optical element.
(FR) Un élément optique transparent (100) comprend un ensemble de cellules (1 ) ayant des profondeurs respectives variables (h) mesurées selon une direction (N) perpendiculaire à une face (S1) de l'élément portant les dites cellules. Les cellules peuvent être remplies avec un gaz ou avec des mélanges d'au moins deux composantes ayant des valeurs différentes d'un indice de réfraction lumineuse. La variation de profondeur des cellules permet d'accroître une variation d'une valeur équivalente de l'indice de réfraction lumineuse associée à chaque cellule, et de réduire une rugosité d'une lentille équivalente à l'élément optique.
