Abstract:
(EN) A digital processing method of a large or medium-size sand mold includes inverting a three-dimensional CAD model of a mold into a numeric controlling code, putting a prepared sand blank on a hollow grid-shaped processing platform (1) to proceed the digital milling procedure, bringing away waste sand generated during processing by high pressure gas blown out from a nozzle (11) near a cutter (10) and the waste sand entering to a collecting device (2) below the processing platform (1). A device for carrying out the method is disclosed. The method and the device reduce the processing steps.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement numérique d'un moule en sable de grandes ou de moyennes dimensions, comportant les étapes consistant à convertir un modèle CAO tridimensionnel d'un moule en un code de commande numérique, à placer un brut préparé en sable sur une plate-forme creuse (1) de transformation à claire-voie pour exécuter une procédure de fraisage numérique et évacuer le sable résiduel généré pendant la transformation à l'aide d'un gaz à haute pression soufflé par une buse (11) près d'une fraise (10), le sable résiduel entrant dans un dispositif (2) de collecte placé au-dessous de la plate-forme (1) de traitement. L'invention concerne également un dispositif destiné à réaliser ledit procédé, le procédé et le dispositif selon l'invention réduisant le nombre d'étapes de transformation.
