Abstract:
(EN) Methods and apparatuses are directed to calibrating a misconfigured wireless access point. One method may include receiving a position of mobile station(s) and wireless signal model measurements derived from packets exchanged between the mobile station(s) and a plurality of wireless access points, receiving positions and/or identities of the plurality of wireless access points used in determining the position of the mobile station(s), comparing a position of the mobile station(s) with wireless signal model measurements, and identifying a misconfigured wireless access point based upon the comparing. Another method may include receiving positions associated with a plurality of wireless access points, determining a position of a mobile station based upon a wireless signal model, comparing the position of the mobile station and the wireless signal model with the positions associated with the plurality of wireless access points, and determining whether at least one wireless access point is misconfigured.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des procédés et des appareils destinés à l'étalonnage d'un point d'accès sans fil mal configuré. Un procédé de la présente invention peut inclure les étapes suivantes : réception d'une position d'une ou de plusieurs stations mobiles et de mesures de modèle de signal sans fil dérivées de paquets échangés entre la ou les stations mobiles et une pluralité de points d'accès sans fil ; réception de positions et/ou d'identités de la pluralité de points d'accès sans fil par détermination de la position de la ou des stations mobiles ; comparaison d'une position de la ou des stations mobiles avec des mesures de modèle de signal sans fil ; et identification d'un point d'accès sans fil mal configuré sur la base de la comparaison. Un autre procédé peut inclure la réception de positions associées à une pluralité de points d'accès sans fil, la détermination d'une position d'une station mobile sur la base d'un modèle de signal sans fil, la comparaison de la position de la station mobile et du modèle de signal sans fil avec les positions associées à la pluralité de points d'accès sans fil, et la détermination de la mauvaise configuration ou non d'au moins un point d'accès sans fil.
