Abstract:
(EN) A predictive notification system 150 identifies certain mobile devices 114, 116 in a wireless telecommunications network 102 that are likely to be within a predetermined geographical area of interest 120 during a predetermined period of time. The identified location/time pair may be one that is associated with or affected by a particular event (e.g., emergency, construction, disaster, traffic, weather or other alerts and events). This allows a notification (about the event) to be sent to the identified mobile devices 114, 116 in an effort to notify them of the event prior to entering the affected area in predetermined geographical area of interest 120. A trending profile generated and maintained by the mobile devices 114, 116 in the network is examined/consulted to determine the identity of those mobile devices 114, 116 that are likely to be within the affected area during the relevant time period.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système de notification prédictive (150) qui identifie certains dispositifs mobiles (114, 116) dans un réseau de télécommunications sans fil (102) qui sont susceptibles de se trouver dans une zone d'intérêt géographique prédéterminée (120) durant une période de temps prédéterminé.
