Abstract:
(EN) The polymerization processes described herein provide methods for controlling the dehydration of glycols such that dimers are formed as glycol ethers and incorporated into aliphatic-aromatic copolyetheresters during polycondensation. Control over this phenomenon provides unique polymer compositions with a range of thermo-mechanical properties, crystallinity, bio-content and biodegradability.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés de polymérisation permettant de réguler la déshydratation de glycols afin que des dimères soient produits sous forme de glycoléthers et incorporés dans des copolyétheresters aliphatiques-aromatiques pendant la polycondensation. La régulation de ce phénomène permet d'obtenir des compositions de polymère particulières présentant une gamme de propriétés thermomécaniques, une cristallinité, un contenu biologique et une biodégradabilité.
