Abstract:
(EN) A real-time service monitoring apparatus and method using a time stamp is provided. The real-time service monitoring apparatus includes: a packet reception and classification block configured to generate a first time stamp whenever receiving a packet, and classify the received packet into a time synchronization packet or a real-time monitoring packet; a packet processing and switching block configured to process the classified packet depending on whether the packet is the time synchronization packet or the real-time monitoring packet, and switch the processed packet to a destination address; a packet classification and transmission block configured to classify the switched packet depending on whether the packet is the time synchronization packet or the real-time monitoring packet, generate a second time stamp for the classified packet, and transmits the packet; and a real-time monitoring block configured to compute a real-time monitoring parameters for each flow using the generated first and second time stamps, in order to monitor the real-time service.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil de surveillance de service en temps réel et un procédé utilisant une estampille temporelle. Ledit appareil de surveillance de service en temps réel comprend : un bloc de réception et de classification de paquet conçu pour générer une première estampille temporelle lors de la réception d'un paquet, et classer le paquet reçu dans un paquet de synchronisation temporelle ou un paquet de surveillance en temps réel; un bloc de traitement et de commutation de paquet conçu pour traiter le paquet classé en fonction de son type, à savoir paquet de synchronisation temporelle ou paquet de surveillance en temps réel, et commuter le paquet traité vers une adresse de destination; un bloc de classification et de transmission de paquet conçu pour classer le paquet commuté en fonction de son type, à savoir paquet de synchronisation temporelle ou paquet de surveillance en temps réel, générer une deuxième estampille temporelle pour le paquet classé, et transmettre le paquet; et un bloc de surveillance en temps réel conçu pour calculer des paramètres de surveillance en temps réel pour chaque flux au moyen des première et deuxième estampilles temporelles générées, afin de surveiller le service en temps réel.
