Abstract:
(EN) An image-forming method is provided which enable high-quality images to be formed over a long time period. In the image-forming method, an electrophotographic photosensitive member is used having a surface layer formed of a hydrogenated amorphous silicon carbide in which a ratio of the number of carbon atoms to the sum of the number of silicon atoms and the number of the carbon atoms in the surface layer is 0.61 or more and 0.75 or less, and the sum of the atomic density of the silicon atoms and the atomic density of the carbon atoms in the surface layer is 6.60×1022 atoms/cm3 or more, and the peak wavelength of pre-exposure light is shorter than the peak wavelength of image exposure light.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de formation d'images qui permet de former des images de grande qualité sur une longue durée. Au cours du procédé de formation d'images, on utilise un élément photosensible électrophotographique ayant une couche de surface constituée d'un carbure de silicium amorphe hydrogéné dans lequel un rapport du nombre d'atomes de carbone à la somme du nombre d'atomes de silicium et du nombre d'atomes de carbone dans la couche de surface est supérieur ou égal à 0,61 et inférieur ou égal à 0,75, la somme de la densité atomique des atomes de silicium et de la densité atomique des atomes de carbone dans la couche de surface est supérieure ou égale à 6,60×1022 atomes/cm3, et la longueur d'onde en crête de la lumière de pré-exposition est plus courte que la longueur d'onde en crête de la lumière d'exposition d'images.
