Abstract:
(EN) A method of determining the potential friction between a vehicle tyre and a rolling surface, said method comprising: detecting at least one signal (Sl) representative of a deformation of a portion of an inner surface (8) of a tyre (1); processing said at least one signal (Sl) for identifying at least one significant point on a curve representative of said signal (Sl); determining as a function of at least one coordinate of at least one of said significant points, a parameter (P) representative of the grip between said tyre (1) and rolling surface (5); determining as a function of said parameter (P), the potential friction (μpot) between said tyre (1) and rolling surface (5). Also described is a system (100) for determining said potential friction (μpot).
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé de détermination du frottement potentiel entre un pneu de véhicule et une surface de roulement, ledit procédé consistant à : détecter au moins un signal (S1) représentatif de la déformation d'une partie d'une surface intérieure (8) d'un pneu (1) ; traiter ledit ou lesdits signaux (S1) afin d'identifier au moins un point significatif sur une courbe représentative dudit signal (S1) ; déterminer en fonction d'au moins une coordonnée d'au moins un desdits points significatifs, un paramètre (P) représentatif de la prise entre ledit pneu (1) et ladite surface de roulement (5) ; déterminer en fonction dudit paramètre (P) le frottement potentiel (µpot) entre ledit pneu (1) et ladite surface de roulement (5). L'invention porte également sur un système (100) de détermination dudit frottement potentiel (µpot).
