Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for protecting a substrate (10), in which at least one portion adjacent to a surface is made of a refractory material containing silicon, during high-temperature use in an oxidising, humid environment, which consists of forming a boron-free environmental barrier on the surface of the substrate, having at least one layer (22) essentially made of a system of oxides formed by at least one oxide of a rare earth element, silica and alumina and which is capable of self-healing with the sustained presence of at least one solid phase in a temperature range of up to at least around 1400°C.
(FR) Pour protéger un substrat (10), dont au moins une partie adjacente à une surface est en un matériau réfractaire contenant du silicium, lors d'une utilisation à haute température en milieu oxydant et humide, on forme sur la surface du substrat une barrière environnementale ne contenant pas de bore et ayant au moins une couche (22) qui est constituée essentiellement d'un système d'oxydes formé d'au moins un oxyde de terre rare, de silice et d'alumine et qui est capable de s'auto-cicatriser avec maintien de la présence d'au moins une phase solide dans un domaine de températures allant jusqu'à au moins 1400°C environ.
