Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a device for reducing time distortion generated in light pulses by an optical frequency converter including at least one nonlinear optical component (4) having a nonlinear optical susceptibility ϰ of about 2 or 3, said converter being capable of receiving at least one incident pulse light beam (2), the incident light pulses having a duration Δt0, an optical frequency ω0 ± Δ ω0 and an intensity l0(t), and of generating, by frequency conversion, at least one output pulse beam (3), the output light pulses having a duration Δt1, an optical frequency ω1 ± Δ ω1 different from ω0 ± Δ ω0, and an intensity l1(t). According to the invention, the time distortion-reducing device includes a precompensation linear time filter (5) provided on the path of the incident beam (2), and capable of reducing the intensity time distortions generated in said frequency-converted output light pulses to at least one precompensation intensity lcomp.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de réduction des distorsions temporelles induites dans des impulsions lumineuses par un convertisseur de fréquence optique comprenant au moins un composant optique non linéaire (4) ayant une susceptibilité optique non linéaire ϰ d'ordre 2 ou 3, ledit convertisseur étant apte à recevoir au moins un faisceau lumineux impulsionnel incident (2), les impulsions lumineuses incidentes étant de durée Δt0, de fréquence optique ω0 ± Δω0et d'intensité lω0(t) et à générer par conversion de fréquence au moins un faisceau impulsionnel de sortie (3) les impulsions lumineuses de sortie étant de durée Δt1 de fréquence optique ω1 ± Δ ω1différente de ω0 ± Δ ω0 et d'intensité lω1(t). Selon l'invention, le dispositif de réduction des distorsions temporelles comprend un filtre temporel linéaire (5) de précompensation disposé sur le trajet du faisceau incident (2) et apte à réduire à au moins une intensité de compensation lcomp les distorsions temporelles en intensité induites dans lesdites impulsions lumineuses de sortie converties en fréquence.
