Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for determining a heading in the direction of true north using an inertia-sensing module comprising three gyrometer measuring axes and three accelerometer measuring axes, said method including the following steps: using the data from the inertia-sensing module according to a north-seeking mode for obtaining a first heading value; using the data from the inertia-sensing module according to a gyrocompass mode for obtaining a second heading value; and determining the heading in the direction of true north using the first heading value and the second heading value.
(FR) Procédé de détermination d'un cap en direction du Nord géographique au moyen d'un module senseur inertiel comportant trois axes de mesure gyrométriques et trois axes de mesure accélérométriques, comprenant les étapes de : exploiter des données du module senseur inertiel selon un mode chercheur de Nord pour obtenir une première valeur de cap, exploiter des données du module senseur inertiel selon un mode gyrocompas pour obtenir une deuxième valeur de cap, déterminer le cap en direction du nord en utilisant la première valeur de cap et la deuxième valeur de cap.
