Abstract:
(EN) The process for realizing high-resistance slabs or tiles, destined for covering internal or external floors or walls comprises following stages: arranging a slab or tile exhibiting an in-view surface; arranging at least a slim support slab or support plate having a characteristic of possessing a thermal expansion coefficient which is greater than a thermal expansion coefficient of the slab or tile, the slim support slab or support plate exhibiting good properties of tenacity and resistance to easy breakage thereof; gluing under heating the slab or tile onto the slim support slab or support plate, or vice versa, using a suitable glue for adhering to surfaces thereof to be glued; leaving an assembly thus obtained to cool down to an ambient temperature such that owing to a different thermal expansion coefficient (contraction), the slim support slab or support plate induces on the slab or tile, to which it is solidly glued, a state of compression starting from a lower surface thereof which is opposite the in-view surface.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de dalles ou de tuiles de haute résistance, destinées à couvrir des planchers ou des parois internes ou externes. Le procédé comporte les étapes suivantes : la disposition d'une dalle ou d'une tuile présentant une surface visible ; la disposition d'au moins une dalle de support ou plaque de support mince ayant pour caractéristique de présenter un coefficient de dilatation thermique qui est supérieur à un coefficient de dilatation thermique de la dalle ou de la tuile, la dalle de support ou la plaque de support mince présentant de bonnes propriétés de solidité et de résistance à une rupture facile de celle-ci ; le collage par chauffage de la dalle ou de la tuile sur la dalle de support ou sur la plaque de support mince, ou inversement, à l'aide d'une colle appropriée pour adhérer à des surfaces de celles-ci devant être collées ; le refroidissement de l'ensemble ainsi obtenu jusqu'à une température ambiante, de telle sorte que, du fait du coefficient de dilatation thermique (contraction) différent, la dalle de support ou la plaque de support mince induit, sur la dalle ou sur la tuile à laquelle elle est solidement collée, un état de compression commençant au niveau d'une surface inférieure de celle-ci qui est opposée à la surface visible.
