Mittel zur Erzeugung von Wasserstoff aus wässriger Lösung, bei dem Metallteilchen mit einem edleren Metall beschichtet sind, wobei das Metallpulver nach Kontamination seiner Oberfläche mit einem Anteil von 0,1 bis 10 Atom% eines Metalls der 11. Spalte des Periodischen Systems der Elemente bezogen auf die Gesamtmetallmenge und ggf. nach Vermischen mit unbehandeltem Metallpulver zu Tabletten verpresst ist.

Means for generating hydrogen from aqueous solution, wherein metal particles are coated with a noble metal, wherein the metal powder is compressed into tablets after the surface of the powder is contaminated with a fraction of 0.1 to 10 atom% of a metal from the 11th column of the periodic table of the elements, said fraction relative to the total amount of metal and optionally after mixing with untreated metal powder.

L'invention concerne un agent de production d'hydrogène à partir d'une solution aqueuse, agent dans lequel des particules métalliques sont recouvertes d'un métal noble, caractérisé en ce que la poudre métallique, après contamination de sa surface par une fraction de 0,1 à 10% atomique d'un métal de la 11ème colonne de la Classification Périodique des Eléments, rapporté à la quantité métallique totale, est comprimée en pastilles, éventuellement après mélange avec une poudre métallique non traitée.
