Abstract

The present invention provides Gd-chelates modified so as to comprise an amino acid unit attached to the chelate via a linker group suitably selected from C2-4alkylene and C3-5alkynylene, and the use of such chelates as an intravascular contrast agent for MRI. Embodiments demonstrate enhanced relaxivity and good levels of signal enhancement.

La présente invention concerne des chélates de Gd modifiés de manière à comprendre un motif d'acide aminé lié au chélate par l'intermédiaire d'un groupe lieur adapté choisi parmi un alkylène en C2-4 et un alcynylène en C3-5, et l'utilisation de tels chélates en tant qu'agent de contraste intravasculaire pour IRM. Des modes de réalisation mettent en évidence une amélioration de la relaxivité et de bons niveaux d'amplification de signal.
