The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for protecting a battery pack by sensing the breakdown of a sense resistor. The apparatus of the invention comprises: a fuse and a sense resistor which are connected in a circuit path through which charge or discharge current flows; and a fuse control switch for controlling the fuse; and further a Schottky diode of which one end is connected to the sense resistor and the other end is connected to the fuse control switch. According to the invention, the breakdown of parts caused by overcurrent is prevented by sensing the breakdown of the sense resistor at a low cost, which is a main element of the apparatus for protecting the battery pack, and then melting the fuse. Therefore, the stability of the battery pack can be improved.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé visant à protéger un bloc-batterie par détection de la panne d'une résistance de détection. L'appareil de l'invention comprend : un fusible et une résistance de détection qui sont connectés dans une voie de circuit par laquelle s'écoule un courant de charge ou de décharge; et un commutateur de contrôle de fusible pour contrôler le fusible; et également une diode Schottky dont une extrémité est connectée au commutateur de contrôle de fusible. Selon cette invention, on peut éviter la panne de pièces provoquée par une surintensité en détectant, à faible coût, la panne d'une résistance de détection qui est un élément principal de l'appareil de protection du bloc-batterie, et en procédant ensuite à la fonte du fusible. Cela permet, en conséquence, d'améliorer la stabilité du bloc-batterie.

본 발명은, 센스 저항 파괴를 감지하여 배터리 팩을 보호하는 장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명의 배터리 팩 보호 장치는, 충전 전류 또는 방전 전류가 흐르는 회로 경로 상에 접속된 퓨즈 및 센스 저항과, 상기 퓨즈를 제어하는 퓨즈 제어 스위치를 포함하는 배터리 팩 보호 장치에 있어서, 한 단은 상기 센스 저항에 접속되고 다른 단은 상기 퓨즈 제어 스위치에 접속된 쇼트키 다이오드(schottky diode)를 더 포함하여 구성된다. 본 발명에 의하면, 적은 비용으로 배터리 팩 보호 장치의 중요 소자인 센스 저항의 파괴를 감지하여 퓨즈를 융단시킴으로써, 과전류 등으로 인해 부품이 파괴되는 것을 방지할 수 있어, 배터리 팩의 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
