A projector is connected with an external apparatus so that the projector can communicate with the external apparatus and composes a network together with the external apparatus. The projector is provided with an address corresponding table (2a) where an IP address to identify the external apparatus in the network is stored in association with a MAC address inherent to the external apparatus and a control unit (1) that acquires the MAC address inherent to the external apparatus from the external apparatus identified by the IP address stored at the address corresponding table (2a) and receives a video signal supplied from the outside through the network or a video signal directly inputted to the projector only when the acquired MAC address is consistent with the MAC address stored in association with the IP address at the address corresponding table (2a).

L'invention porte sur un projecteur qui est connecté à un appareil externe de telle sorte que le projecteur peut communiquer avec l'appareil externe et forme un réseau conjointement avec l'appareil externe. Le projecteur comporte une table de correspondance d'adresse (2a) où une adresse IP pour identifier l'appareil externe dans le réseau est stockée en association avec une adresse MAC intrinsèque à l'appareil externe et une unité de commande (1) qui acquiert l'adresse MAC intrinsèque à l'appareil externe à partir de l'appareil externe identifié par l'adresse IP stockée au niveau de la table de correspondance d'adresse (2a) et reçoit un signal vidéo fourni à partir de l'extérieur par l'intermédiaire du réseau ou un signal vidéo directement mis en entrée au projecteur uniquement lorsque l'adresse MAC acquise est cohérente avec l'adresse MAC stockée en association avec l'adresse IP au niveau de la table de correspondance d'adresse (2a).

 外部機器と通信可能に接続され、該外部機器とともにネットワークを構成するプロジェクタであって、上記ネットワークにおいて上記外部機器を識別するためのIPアドレスが、上記外部機器に固有のMACアドレスと対応付けられて格納されるアドレス対応テーブル(2a)と、アドレス対応テーブル(2a)に格納された上記IPアドレスにより識別される外部機器から、該外部機器に固有のMACアドレスを取得し、該取得したMACアドレスがアドレス対応テーブル(2a)に上記IPアドレスと対応付けられて格納されたMACアドレスと一致する場合にのみ、外部から上記ネットワークを介して供給される映像信号またはプロジェクタに直接入力される映像信号を受け付ける制御部(1)を有する。
