Provided is a method for controlling the power of an image display light emission device which applies an illumination light from a plurality of divided areas.  Image data for image display is used to determine the light emission luminance data relating to each light emission element of the image display light emission device (S20).  The light emission luminance data relating to each light emission element of each area is used to calculate the power of each area and the total light emission power (S40).  If the calculated total light emission power exceeds a predetermined allowable power, the power of each area is limited so that the total light emission power is within the predetermined allowable power (S50).

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour commander la puissance d'un dispositif d'émission de lumière d'affichage d'image, qui applique une lumière d'éclairage à partir d'une pluralité de zones divisées. Des données d'image pour un affichage d'image sont utilisées pour déterminer les données de luminance d'émission de lumière associées à chaque élément d'émission de lumière du dispositif d'émission de lumière d'affichage d'image (S20). Les données de luminance d'émission de lumière associées à chaque élément d'émission de lumière de chaque zone sont utilisées pour calculer la puissance de chaque zone et la puissance d'émission de lumière totale (S40). Si la puissance d'émission de lumière totale calculée dépasse une puissance admissible prédéfinie, la puissance de chaque zone est limitée de telle sorte que la puissance d'émission de lumière totale se trouve à l'intérieur de la puissance admissible prédéfinie (S50).

分割された複数のエリアから照明光を照射する画像表示用発光装置の電力制御方法において、画像表示用の画像データに基づいて、画像表示用発光装の各発光素子の発光輝度データが決定される(S20)。エリア毎の各発光素子の発光輝度データに基づいて、エリア毎の電力および発光総電力が算出される(S40)。算出された発光総電力が所定の許容電力を超える場合、発光総電力が所定の許容電力以内となるように、エリア毎の電力が制限される(S50)。
