(EN)Provided are a substrate having a thin film, wherein planarity and yield of the thin film are easily improved, an organic electroluminescence display device, a color filter substrate and a method for manufacturing the substrate having a thin film.  The substrate having a thin film is provided with a substrate and a thin film formed on the substrate.  The substrate having the thin film is also provided with a first bank forming a recessed section on the substrate, and a second bank formed on the first bank.  In a partitioned region surrounded by the second bank, a plurality of recessed sections are arranged, and the thin films are arranged in the recessed sections.
