(EN)A simple, cost-effective process for preparation of efavirenz of formula (I) comprising reacting a solution of 5-chloro-α-(cyclopropylethynyl)-2-amino-α-trifluoromethyl) benzene methanol of formula (II) in an organic solvent with triphosgene in the presence of an inorganic base at a temperature range -5 °C to 25 °C, adding water and isolating compound of formula (I).
(FR)L’invention concerne un procédé simple et bon marché pour préparer efavirenz représenté par la formule (I), consistant à mettre à réagir une solution de 5-chloro-α-(cyclopropylethynyl)-2-amino-α-trifluoromethyl) benzène méthanol représentée par la formule (II) dans un solvant organique avec un triphosgène en présence d’une base inorganique dans une plage de températures comprise entre -5°C et 25°C, et à ajouter de l’eau et un composant isolant représenté par la formule (I).
