(EN)A new methodology that uses clock skews of a wireless local area network access point (AP) as its fingerprint to detect unauthorized APs quickly and accurately. The clock skew is determined from time synchronization function (TSF) timestamps sent out in beacon probes.
(FR)L'invention concerne une nouvelle méthodologie qui utilise des décalages d'horloge d'un point d'accès de réseau local sans fil (AP) en tant qu'empreinte digitale pour détecter rapidement et avec précision des AP non autorisés.
