Abstract
(EN) A process and system for manufacturing phosphorus from phosphoric acid and carbon is disclosed. The reaction 4H3PO4+16C.->.6H2+16CO+P4 takes place at around 85O °C. The process is cost-effective and less energy consuming compared to conventional methods.
(FR) Selon l'invention, le procédé et le système ci-décrits permettent de préparer du phosphore à partir d'acide phosphorique et de carbone. La réaction 4H3PO4+16C.->.6H2+16CO+P4 s'opère au voisinage de 850 °C. Le procédé est économique et consomme moins d'énergie que les procédés classiques.
