(EN)The present invention relates to a chemodenervating agent to introduce temporal reversible infertility in a vertebrates, wherein the vertebrate may be a human, mammal, marsupial, reptile, amphibian, bird or fish, wherein the chemodenervating agent is applied either to the female or to the male reproductive tissues and/or organs. In one embodiment said chemodenervating agent is the neurotoxic component of botulinum toxin free of complexing proteins.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un agent chimiodénervant pour provoquer une infertilité réversible et temporaire chez un vertébré, le vertébré pouvant être un humain, un mammifère, un marsupial, un reptile, un amphibien, un oiseau ou un poisson, l’agent chimiodénervant étant appliqué aux tissus et/ou organes reproducteurs mâles ou femelles. Dans un mode de réalisation, ledit agent chimiodénervant est le composant neurotoxique de la toxine botulique exempt de protéines complexantes.
