In particular, the present invention relates to use of CTGF and/or BDNF and/or fragments and/or variants thereof for the inhibition of plaque formation thereby being useful in the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease or other disorders associated with elevated of amyloid beta or amyloid plaque.
