(EN)An apparatus and a method for frame interpolation based on precision motion estimation are provided. The apparatus for frame interpolation may generate an interpolation frame (104) to restore images based on a motion vector (103) which is determined based on a rotation element in addition to forward motion and backward motion between frames.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour l’interpolation d’images basée sur une estimation précise de mouvement. L’appareil pour l’interpolation d’images peut générer une trame d’interpolation pour restituer des images en fonction d’un vecteur de mouvement qui est déterminé après la détermination d’un vecteur de mouvement à partir d’un élément de rotation outre un mouvement vers l’avant et vers l’arrière entre des images.
