(EN)The invention relates to a novel method for making a compressor casing that is resistant to titanium fire (burning titanium). The method of the invention comprises carrying out a plating by exploding a circular preform (12'), made of steel or a steel alloy or a superalloy that is incombustible to titanium fire, against a circular preform (H') made of titanium or a titanium alloy.
