(EN)Nanoparticles that activate complement in the absence of biological molecules are described. The nanoparticles are shown to specifically target antigen presenting cells in specifically in lymph nodes, without the use of a biological molecule for targeting. These particles are useful vehicles for delivering immunotherapeutics. Surface chemistries and chemical formulations for the nanoparticles are described.
(FR)L'invention concerne des nanoparticules qui activent le complément en l'absence de molécules biologiques. Il a été démontré que les nanoparticules se dirigeaient spécifiquement vers des cellules présentant l'antigène spécifiquement dans les ganglions lymphatiques, sans utiliser de molécule biologique pour les diriger. Ces particules sont des véhicules utiles pour administrer des substances immunothérapeutiques.
