Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a broadband reflective polarizer, and a backlight unit and a liquid crystal display having same. The broadband reflective polarizer of the present invention includes a reflective polarizing film which enables first polarized light and second polarized light of at least one or more random polarized lights of the wavelength band where the intensity of light is higher than in another wavelength band, from among white light emitted from a light source, to exit, and enables first polarized light of the rest of the random polarized light to exit and second polarized light of the rest of the random polarized light to be reflected; and an absorptive polarizing film which enables the first polarized light incident from the reflective polarizing film to exit, and absorbs the second polarized light incident from the reflective polarizing film. As the present invention provides the reflective polarizing film and the absorptive polarizing film for appropriately adjusting and emitting random polarized light having a great light intensity from among white light emitted from a light source, optimal color expression can be achieved.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un polariseur réfléchissant à large bande et une unité de rétroéclairage et un écran à cristaux liquides comportant cette dernière. Le polariseur réfléchissant à large bande de la présente invention comprend un film polarisant réfléchissant qui permet l'émission d'une première lumière polarisée et d'une deuxième lumière polarisée appartenant à au moins une ou plusieurs lumières polarisées aléatoires de la bande de longueur d'onde, l'intensité de lumière étant supérieure à celle d'une autre bande de longueur d'onde, à partir d'une lumière blanche émise par une source d'éclairage, et permet l'émission d'une première lumière polarisée du reste de lumière polarisée aléatoire et la réflexion d'une deuxième lumière polarisée du reste de lumière polarisée aléatoire; et un film polarisant absorbant qui permet l'émission de la première lumière polarisée incidente provenant du film polarisant réfléchissant, et absorbe la deuxième lumière polarisée incidente provenant du film polarisant réfléchissant. Du fait que le film polarisant réfléchissant et le film polarisant absorbant de l'invention permettent un réglage et une émission appropriés de la lumière polarisée aléatoire ayant une grande intensité, à partir de la lumière blanche émise par une source de lumière, il est possible d'obtenir une expression optimale de la couleur.
(KO) 본 발명은 광대역 반사편광자, 이를 갖는 백라이트 유닛 및 액정표시장치에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명의 광대역 반사편광자는, 광원에서 발광된 백색광 중, 다른 파장대역보다 광 세기가 큰 파장대역을 이루는 적어도 하나 이상의 랜덤편광의 제1편광 및 제2편광은 투과시키면서, 나머지 랜덤편광의 제1편광은 투과시키고 제2편광은 반사시키는 반사편광필름; 상기 반사편광필름으로부터 입사된 제1편광은 투과시키고 제2편광은 흡수하는 흡수편광막;을 포함한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 광원에서 발광된 백색광 중, 광 세기가 큰 랜덤편광을 반사편광필름 및 흡수편광막에서 적절히 조절하여 출사하므로 최적의 색 발현을 기대할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
