Abstract
(EN) An MC-ONU (270) is an ONU installed at a subscriber's home. The MC-ONU (270) includes: a receiving unit (10) which receives signals transmitted from an OLT (330) at a telecommunications carrier site which has not established a link; a determining unit (12) which determines the OLT (330), which has not established a link, to be a remote-end device in point-to-point communication on the condition that the signal received for a predetermined period of time is idle signal only; and a transmitting unit (16) which starts transmitting signals to the OLT (330) from the subscriber's home on the condition that it has been determined by the determining unit (12) that the OLT (330) is the remote-end device in point-to-point communication.
(FR) L'invention concerne un MC-ONU (270) qui est un ONU installé au domicile d'un abonné. Le MC-ONU (270) comprend : une unité de réception (10) qui reçoit des signaux transmis depuis un OLT (330) au niveau d'un site d'opérateur de télécommunications qui n'a pas établi de liaison ; une unité de détermination (12) qui détermine l'OLT (330), qui n'a pas établi de liaison, comme étant un dispositif d'extrémité distante dans une communication point à point à la condition que le signal reçu pendant un intervalle de temps prédéterminé soit un signal de veille seulement ; et une unité de transmission (16) qui démarre la transmission de signaux à l'OLT (330) depuis le domicile de l'abonné à la condition qu'il ait été déterminé par l'unité de détermination (12) que l'OLT (330) est le dispositif d'extrémité distante dans une communication point à point.
